The Jungian Odyssey 2009 offers the extraordinary opportunity to convene at the historical Hotel Waldhaus in Sils-Maria. At www.waldhaus-sils.ch/en the venue can be seen, nestled in the majestic Engadine Valley; here, too, is a list of renowned Waldhaus guests including among many others Rainer Maria Rilke, Herman Hesse, Thomas Mann, and C.G. Jung himself, with his wife Emma. A stone’s throw from the hotel, and remaining open today to visitors, was the summer home of Friederich Nietzsche. These great and innovative thinkers have inspired the conference theme, Creation and Destruction: Facing the Ambiguities of Power.
Your donation for 2009 enables Odyssey attendance for individuals who otherwise cannot afford the registration fee and /or travel expenses. As most if not all of these come from developing countries, your are also helping to further Jungian psychology in places where it remains to become an established discipline.
